Director of Choral Activities at Fort Dodge Senior High, received his undergraduate degree from Luther College in 2010. Matt joined the music faculty at Fort Dodge Senior High in 2011 and is currently serving in his third year as conductor of The A Cappella Choir. His duties at FDSH include Dodger Men’s Chorus, Music Theory, Advanced Vocal Techniques, Rockapella, and The A Cappella Choir, the program’s premier mixed concert ensemble.
As a chorister, Matt has appeared in both international and domestic tours, performing in various national, regional, and state level conventions/festivals, including the 2010 American Choral Director’s Association (ACDA) National Convention in Oklahoma City, OK (Luther College Nordic Choir); the 2006 North Central ACDA Regional Convention in Omaha, NE (Iowa City West High Chamber Choir); and the Iowa All-State Chorus (2004, 2005). As a performer, Matt has appeared in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, California, Oregon, and Washington, as well as Italy, France, and Spain. While at Luther, Matt performed in Christmas at Luther 2008, “Night of Glory, Dawn of Peace,” which received an Emmy for artistic recording and broadcast.
In addition to his teaching and conducting duties, Matt also serves as the Contemporary Music and Worship Coordinator at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Fort Dodge, IA, where he lives with his wife BreAnn and their wonderful black lab Macie.
Matt’s teachers and conducting mentors include Dr. Zack Durlam, Dr. Craig Arnold, Dr. Dennis Darling, Weston Noble, and Dr. Allen Hightower.

Co-Director of Choral Activities at Fort Dodge Senior High, received her undergraduate degree from Buena Vista University in 2004. Kim joined the music faculty at Fort Dodge Senior High (FDSH) in 2013.
Her duties at FDSH include Vox Femina, Women's Chorale, Advanced Vocal Techniques, Dodger Singers, and private voice lessons. Kim is also a PLC (Professional Learning Community) facilitator and a BLT (Building Leadership Team) member. She was a contributing member to FDSH's Iowa Safe and Supportive Schools Grant team.
Prior to joining the Dodger Nation, Kim taught 7-12 vocal music at Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn Community Schools, 5-12 vocal music at Alta Community Schools, and K-12 vocal music at Newell-Fonda Community Schools. She appeared in both international and domestic tours, a highlight of which was featured soloist at a performance at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France.
In addition to her teaching and conducting duties, Kim is also a member of the Fort Dodge Choral Society.
